Lindy’s writing has an inspirational quality, an emotional integrity that stems from a narrative based on personal experiences and deep reflection. Lindy is authentic, honest and mindful of the details that make for a rich life, especially the minor threads that would otherwise slip past and be lost.
She values a sense of the poetic and respects the very human desire to connect.
Writing is her sustenance.
Lindy is currently completing her Master of Arts in Writing.
She also has a Certificate in Professional Writing and Editing, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Marketing and Management) and Diplomas in both Transpersonal Counselling and Transpersonal Art therapy. Her work is of a consistently high, and insightful, standard. She is also completing a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing because it’s fun.
She has freelanced offering conscious marketing advice, and worked for multinationals. She has career changed, tree changed, learnt Italian in Florence, birthed children in her lounge room, gathered the women, been the Duckmaster at the Peabody Hotel Memphis and walked with shamans in Peru. These are all stories she will tell.
She is working on her first book and enjoys a wide variety of writing tasks in her professional and creative writing endeavours. She prides herself on writing meaningful copy and holds Don Watson, author of Death Sentence, in high esteem (and Frieda Kahlo, Carl Jung, Pablo Neruda and Clarissa Pinkola Estes).
Lindy accepts all kinds of freelance writing assignments. Her business ‘Words to Life‘ allows her to use her extensive experience to write great and effective copy for all sorts of clients, in all sorts of situations. She is skilled at writing marketing copy and in writing for the Web. She is also the Media and Communications Manager at The Gawler Foundation part-time and writes a daily blog for The Chemical Maze.
Lindy is also a mother, yoga devotee and tribal bellydancer.
Afterall, Michaelangelo wasn’t just a painter.
