What is it about?

As I have tentatively bought this fledgling blog into being, the question has been asked “what is it about?’
I started this blog as a way of practising my writing. For me, this blog has afforded me a discipline in being present and constant with my writing, and in redrafting until I can go no further. Some entries are better than others and I am on a steep learning curve. As a writing student I am rarely satisfied.
So for now, this blog will be about things that I notice in my life – and as I build a body of work and readers, I will feel my way into what I enjoy writing about the most, what people want (so post your comments!) and what really matters.
This blog is about simple things in a crazy world, engaging anecdotes, inspirations and ideas I have about a life lived authentically. It is about what it’s like for me, what I know best.
And so for now I just have to master the art of being amusing, insightful and eloquent! The learning is in the doing. Should be done by lunchtime!
